Physiologic and loved

Wow, where do I even begin. Leila was absolutely everything I wanted and needed in a midwife. I was pregnant with my second child and after having a traumatic first homebirth, I longed for redemption. Leila so gently supported me in my natural instrincts and held my hand as I intuitively decided what I wanted my pregnancy and birth to look like. She believes in physiological birth and mother led birth. During the birth itself she stood back and watched as I did what I needed to do to bring my baby earthside. When it got to transition she held my hands and breathed with me. She honored everything I wanted. She watched as my husband caught my baby and she gently helped get the baby into and better position to breathe. She helped take care of me postpartum and gate me great natural suggestions for any herbal allies that may have helped me. It was an absolute honor to have her support me and work with me and I would 100% hire her again in the future. She’s someone who I would trust with my life and my children’s lives. It’s not everyday you find someone who is so passionate about service women how they deserve to be served.
